I have a 1968 camaro and i ordered a kit to rebuild my door hinges. In this kit i received 6 bronze bushings and two silver looking bushings that are oversize on outside but same size as the bronze on inside.Could anyone tell me if this kit is correct before i take the doors off? I am working on car outside.

Danny: You might have a rebuild kit that requires you to drill out the holes where the pin goes (enlarge them) in order for the new sleeves to go in the hinge.
That is a trick we used a long time ago, only without the sleeves. We just used larger pins.
It's a relatively easy job. Just drill out the hole where the sleeve goes and install it. The new pin should fit after you do that.

If they're like a Chevelle the larger ones go in the hinges with the detent mechanism. If I remember correctly one goes in the top of each of the bottom hinges.
