Vin shows up in a past thread about a repop tag. The link to the ebay ad from the original posting does not work. Any one remember the story. Did someone make a repop tag using this Z's Body number or does this car have a repop tag?

This is probably the original car with the real tag. The repro is an X33D80 on a red car with a deluxe black interior. I've got pictures of both tags and at least the real tag goes with a fathom green car with a deluxe midnight green interior (which this car doen't have, but at least its a green interior) TR 723 57 57 PNT.

Ask to see Jerry's report. As I recall, the drivetrain is not original.

Thats my car I sold a few months ago. Tag real, date correct but not match motor. I know that vin by heart.

Never new someone used my info for a fake tag. Not sure how I missed that post. I owned the car since 2002. Took me that long to restore it.

BTW: Standard green interior was correct for 723.

Yep, your right, 723 is a standard mdnight green interior code.
