Where should I find the #'s on my tranny to see if it's original to the car.:confused:

...the date codes should be on the 'flat' on the driver's side. Here are a couple photos of a Saginaw date that I had. They aren't the best photos to help locate the area, ...but again, it's on the driver's side, ...hope these are of some help...

I found it!!!! Partially hidden behind switch bracket:clonk:
It reads R7T28.
What does that tell me?

Found that too!
It's a 4 speed saginaw, model yr 1967, built Dec 28,1966.
Hope the builder had a good Christmas;)

Do I go to the head of the class:hurray:

This is for the 01B blue 67?
Sure looks dated correctly for that car! Congrats!
