I just bought another pair of Hooker Competition ceramic coated headers for my BB and they don't fit. The first pair fit and they were purchased 5 years ago. The flange is not stamped/cut right on the bottom side and are hitting the head bolts. A little bit of grinding will take care of it. Has anyone else had this problem?

Are you using studs instead of bolts in your heads? If so, you'll have some clearance issues regardless of manufacturer.
My solution, is to use regular bolts (with washers) on the four lower head bolt locations (below the header flange) on each side. This will allow another 3/16"~ clearance and no need for grinding.
Let us know what transpires.

the headers fit in the car fine. They just don't fit on the motor with out grinding on the flange. On further inspection, I see that the guy who built my motor ground down the first pair of headers.
