Can anyone tell me where to mount a muitiplex switch for a 1969 camaro? I know it goes on the center console on the drivers side on the center console. Where and how?

There is no external switch in a factory setup. The switch that connects and disconects the 8 track and the multiplex to the speaker harness is internal to the multiplex 8 track player and is controlled by a lever that rides on the 8 track cartridge when it is inserted into the player. You have to have the multiplex 8 track player to get it to work with the multiplex radio. There may be some kind of dealer installed setup that included an external switch, but it would be something the dealer hacked together with parts from other car lines to get it to work.
