I am currently restoring a 68' SS/RS 396. I'm looking for any help or ideas, involving long term restoration in the area of protecting the parts that hold or held fluid at one time. I drained my gas tank do i leave it dry or coat it with something? also what is the best way to store or let motor,trans,brake parts etc. sit while awaiting restoration?

How long of a restoration are we talking?

2 yr. resto....dont have the time i would like..so 2 yrs. is safe to say, hopefully earlier.thanks Richard
