Could anyone tell me how to lock the headlightswitch knob and shaft into the headlightswitch itself.The switch and shaft are both new..thanks cowboybuddybob:beers:

They just push in and lock in place. There should be a spring loaded pin on the bottom of the switch itself that releases the locking piece that holds the shaft into the assembly. See if this pic gives you a perspective. If its not an RS model, you wont have the small hose bibs on your switch but the rest of it works the same. :)

That is what I did and I do have a r/s maybe I have a defective switch..Thank you for your input

Mine was a little difficult to work with also. I messed with it for a while and it finally slipped in though.
