: Turning a nova into a firebird you have to read
macguyver Apr 24th, 03, 02:25 PM Well, one of my friends just recently got the bug after visiting me one day when he saw the two new cars that I picked up first generation camaro and firebird. He loved the lines of both cars but prefered the lines of the firebird more. Its very hard to find a good project car here in washington for a reasonable price. So, he came up with the idea of turning a nova into a firebird. What do you guys think? I think you can get it close to the orginal lines...especially the fron since the front clip are the same.
tloleson Apr 25th, 03, 05:02 AM It's been done, but not with a nova. If he's going to do that, he really needs to stay with an F body.
Vintage 68 Apr 25th, 03, 05:28 AM Sure it could - Jesus turned water into wine ... oh wait, that was a miracle - never mind.

gene stills Apr 27th, 03, 03:38 PM Bodywise,The Firewall and front floorboards might work? Other than that,I would'nt cut up a nice Nova to use parts on any car.I just sold my 71 Nova.It was probably graemlins/clonk.gif the best muscle car I have ever owned.
toycarlvr@aol.com Apr 29th, 03, 08:54 AM Wouldn't it more exciting to convert a 1989 Honda Civic into a Nova? graemlins/beers.gif

69X11SS May 1st, 03, 03:15 AM Please don't butcher up a Nova. The best and fastest car I ever owned was a 70 Nova SS 350, 4 speed. That car was awesome. When I bought it, it was only five years old. It was a beautiful car. It was a non-ps, non-air, heater and radio delete car. I owned it from 74 to 77. Had to sell because it was too loud to drive a baby around in. A lot of you know that story. I still have fond memories of that car. If another one came along just like it I would grab it up.
