Okay Folks, found inner rockers for my '67 Camaro convertible from Classic Industries. Has anyone in Camaro land purchased and installed in these rockers. Just wondering how they fit and any other information before I plunk down the credit card. tongue.gif I was told they were manufactured in the USA, somewhere in Illionis?? Once again, Thanks! graemlins/beers.gif

Ask them if they are molded like original or just straight bent pieces of metal. Ricks has had them for a while, but they are just a 'good start'... no where's near close to what they should be. I still have a set around that are like that. I'll sell them to you cheap if you want them.

Your best bet is to wait until the correct ones become available seperately. Right now you can get a FULL rocker assembly with the inner, but they are pricey.. like $299 each.

Look at this other post for some pictures of the full ones on a shell I am doing.

Bill, Do you know the ETA for the correctly formed inner rockers? I have the original plain set, but if they are due out fairly soon (fall, or winter this year), I can wait.

Thanks

I used the original plain set and they did need some trimming. But, not bad. This is so great with the newer stuff coming out. Unlike repro fenders, etc, will the gauge be truer to original?

Rick,

The Full rockers are as beefy or beefier (sp?) than original. They are awesome. I think the company wants to try to sell the whole rocker assemblies before they relase parts of them so they can recoup their R&D costs.

Kevin,

I called them today...he said no plans to sell the correctly formed ones by themselves for a few months... although last time it was only a few weeks for the full trunk pan...I'll keep on them about it.

Bill, Thanks. If you hear anything different, please let me know. I will buy them from you.

Those rusted out Converts aren't looking so bad now smile.gif

I hope to make a trip to redi strip near you sometime this year, maybe I can stop by and see your projects?

At the rate I work, it will be late fall, early winter.

As info, Ricks first Gen lists the new "full convertible rockers" for 54.95. You may want to verify price with them because if i didnt see it with my own eyes i wouldnt have believed it. Most list $299.
