Would like some feedback on options for repairing Front/rear Window channels 67. Channels have several bad spots in usual areas. I've already cleaned and used metal ready(POR-15)and both of them. The path I'll likely follow will be to fabricate and patch(weld) channels in place of originals. Other options are fiberglass(yech!), Epoxy putty(hmmm!), or bondo(NFW!).... Any experiences would be appreciated...

Cut and weld a patch panel is the only way to repair rust holes!

I'm beginning to think I just need to buy a new roof! Patching all the rust rails on my car would pretty much mean taking the whole damn thing off. No $$$ right now.

Finding a donor would be a monumental task. Not sure I could find(or afford) one that's in better shape than current.. I'll probably do the patch route and fill in small holes(mine had vinly roof) with the POR15 epoxy putty to smooth out and fill in small..
