I have a 68 and love it to death BUT the bucket seats are killing my neck. I would love to keep it a stock look BUT has anyone had the same problem and how did you solve it. HELP

Do you have standard or delux seats?

I have std seats in mine as well. I was told that you can buy delux foam and re-do your seats. I am going to go with houndstooth. Not sure if it will help your neck, but the delux seats have more padding.

is there a different seat cover you have to get if you use deluxe foam? or can the standard replacement covers work?

My neck too would hurt after driving my '68, and it has deluxe interior. I found that the seat backs leaned to far back. The seat back stops (rubber) were compressed and worn out. I replaced them, using a screw that was 1/4 longer than the original, and 1/4 inch worth of washers under the rubber. I also had too add 1/4 inch of washers under the catch on the other side of the seat base. It worked great, now I drive in comfort!
