I know for best results the fan should be half in & out of the shroud for best flow. My question is , was a factory 396/427 Thermal clutch set up with? A odd ball spacer, or is standard like a 1in or 2in ect. If it is a odd ball spacer I'm going for a correct set up, any pointers on where I could find the correct size would be helpful.

Look's just like a factory 427 Mostly Show but it will go as well.

Found my problem area, no spacer req. but ya dam sure need to right lenght thermal clutch.
