Does anyone know if the GM # 14030435 is for the series 2 or 3 posi unit? :confused:

What is that number off of?

Hello Freddie, the guy selling it said it's the GM# off the box the posi unit is in. I couldn't find the number in my information and he doesn't know if it's a 2 or 3 series.

There should be a casting number on the case. This will identify it. It should start with an ED or EDB.

I e-mailed the guy to check the number on the case. it's an 8.5 so i guess it should have an N at the end of the numbers?

If it is an 8.5 Traction Lock then the number will be 410409 or 410408. The 409 is the 2 series and the 408 is the 3 series.
