The body shop that is repairing the floors on my car suggested, that he could use rhino liner finish on the undercarriage. He said that it would hold up alot better than undercoating.Has any one else tried this.

yuk, and everytime your exhaust heats up it burns it off.. NO GOOD>
stick with POR15
rhinoliner turns into like a hard sandpaper feeling rock... It may be good, I've never tried it on any undercarrige, but on a few wheel wells, and well, it just fell off.

I know a person who had it applied to the inside floors which I am also considering. I would not put it underneath. My vote is POR15 which I have also used extensively.

I don't know about rhino liner, but I do know a guy that does the spray in liners. He can choose a texture rough or smooth as well as colors. The system he uses is mixed with DuPont paint and he can make it any color. He does alot of lowers on trucks (where people usually put stainless) as well as box caps in the smooth finish and it looks pretty good.

Sorry I havn't been on line latly. I'll try to get a hold of him, but since he doen't use rhino linler I'm not sure if he will know. I believe the system he uses is a urathane based product, so it would hold up to a fair amount of heat. I'll try to reach him this week and get his opinion on it.
