Hello...

Question....do speedo clusters have to be calibrated to work in each car or can a good running one be swapped and still be accurate? Isn't the calibration done at the trans with different toothed gears based on rear end gear ratios and tire size? Or do both trans and speedo have to be calibrated?

Thanks!

The speedometers are all the same. The gear at the transmission can be changed to match rear end gear ratios. Those gears are available at most of the parts houses.

I just got my Eckler's Magazine and they have them for $8.99 in four different sizes.
