I have a NOS shifter cable I had lost during my 442 restoration, and I just want to verify what it really is.

The package reads:

7868 1#00411340
GR 4.050
MADE IN USA
CABLE

Thanks for at least looking, do you know what the actual part # is from what I described, I was searching 00411340, does that sound like the format for a GM part #?

Jason,

411340, according to my September 1972 Oldsmobile parts book, it is a

72 F85 TH350 Cable (downshift)

and had a list price of $6.55. Hope it works for the car you are wanting to put it on. It may fit more but I only have an Olds book for Sept 72 and earlier.....
