I`m wondering what`s the difference between a 70 camaro 12 bolt and a 69 camaro 12 bolt.Will the 70 rear fit in the 69 car without much or any modifying.

no it wont work. 67-69 one car once 70s car body and style changed.rear is different need to measure backing plate to backing plate. that will tell you for sure.

The '70 rear end is 1 inch wider and the spring perches are about 3 inches farther apart. The '70 12 bolt is rare and should not be modified. It will fit '70 to '81 Camaros and Firebirds.
