I know the 8.2 rearends in first gen camaros can be upgraded to 8.5 rearends from Novas. With that in mind, are there any other rearends that can be used to upgrade the second gen Camaros? Specifically a 72 Camaro, which I know is one inch wider than the first gen Camaros.

Starting in '71 the Camaro and Firebird used only the 8.5 rear end, up to '81. It didn't matter if it had a big block or a 6 cylinder, they all had the same 8.5. The only upgrade from the 8.5 would be a '70 12 bolt.
