I have a muncie I need to store for awhile. It has had all fluid drained, but I am questioning how to store it... Do I need to have fluid in it to prevent moisture from gtting in and rusting up the gears?

Any tips?

You can enclose in a dark pastic trash bag with a tie wrap and set it inside the house, some place the temperature doesn't change, the colder, the better.

put gear oil back in it and every couple weeks have it in a gear and turn input shaft half turn that way oil is on gears and wont rust up
