I am currently swapping from a PG to a TH400 in a 67 column shift. Info about the kickdown switch, is the wiring part of the engine harness or is it a seperate harness? I need to buy a new engine harness due to to some header heat. Also the linkages will need to be swapped info there would be appreciated.

The kickdwon is a simple hookup. Lokar makes a simple kit from Summit for around $55-$60. It wires from the kickdown unit to the tranny, and the unit to the ignition hot. Including the carb hookup it is probably a 30 minute install. Also the Lokar instructions are so easy 'a fifth grader could do it.'
