lortsie Apr 4th, 07, 02:14 PM 10% off the AAW price? Or is it cheaper still?

For those of us who are a bit "slow" (ex: Buck), what does this mean?

There is a company making billet tail light bezels for Camaros and a few other vehicles. The factory lenses won't fit in and use custom lenses so the other line of LED's I carry won't work where these will.

Kinda hard to post 30+ prices. Which price do you want? 67-69 park lights list $99, 67-68 std rear list $189, 67-68 rs rear list $209, 69 rear list $239, 70-73 rear list $209. Take 10% off those prices.

No offense but i would think that if you wanted to make sales, posting 30+ prices wouldn't be something we would even have to ask for. ;)
Thanks for posting the few that you did tho :)
Initially i think they are rather expensive, but i'll certainly do my homework and see how your prices compare.
CFunK Apr 6th, 07, 05:01 PM Mike,
Not bustin yer balls but what is different about the ones you sell and these from Ricks? Besides the price.

And do you have any short video clips demonstrating the sequential lights in action?

from what I can tell....
those a 2 replacement bulbs that just snap in place or the originals, but use LED bulbs instead of normal ones.
His have about a million (ok maybe an exaggeration) LED lights and get sandwiched between the housing and the bezel and light up the entire "rectangle" of the housing
blue89bird Apr 7th, 07, 03:45 PM His look like this: http://www.camaros.net/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=2575&d=1171122746
I'm thinking the others are like this:

I don't think so. If you read the description on the Ricks add it plainly says they are an array of L.E.D.'s with wiring.
Definitely not a simple plug in bulb replacement like the crap you linked to.
:noway:
blue89bird Apr 7th, 07, 04:45 PM regardless of what it says, it sure looks like the crap replacement bulbs to me

Two different lines of lights. Here is a video link to the sequential '69 units http://www.spaghettiengineering.com/videos/DigiTails6.wmvFYI: The units Rick's carries are like the sequential units without the sequential feature. Anymore questions let me know
Joe Harrison Apr 8th, 07, 08:19 PM So how much are those for a 67 RS. I don't have an RS but want RS tails. Not concerned with having back up lights as you don't see anything with them anyhow.
Thanks
Joe

The sequentials are $209/set. The others I carry are $119/set. You will also need to change your reverse socket out for a brake socket and rewire into the brake side. We can also get new sockets as well.

CFunK Jul 16th, 07, 11:38 PM I purchased a set of the sequential lights for the '67 tonight and will post video showing the stock lights on one side and the sequential on the other when I get them installed.
Thanks Mike!

Give it a couple of weeks.

rsbecool Aug 8th, 07, 01:15 PM Mike,
I like the way the sequential functions on the 69 link you posted work. I take it that the 68 rs work in the same manor? On a 68 rs I see that if you don't want to splice your wires that you can get a full rear light harness and make it plug and play. Do you sell these? How much are they? Do you have to get the No load flasher also? Are the back up lights LED's also included? Do they need a harness also are do they have to be spliced? Thanks in advance for your reply just trying to get an idea of what the total cost is.

You can't get the full harness anymore. Splicing the new connectors is no big deal and simple to do. The 68 RS works in a simliar way to the 69. Yes we sell them, they are $209 plus shipping. No load flashers are highly recommended but not required. Requires 2 one for turn, one for hazard and are $19 ea. Reverse LED's are not available for the RS or std cars in the sequential line. You will have to hook up an extra power wire to operate the micro processer on the LED for the sequential function to operate. Comes with full easy to read instructions to guide you through the install.
rsbecool Aug 8th, 07, 01:48 PM Do they draw less amps than the orginal lights? Where do you get the hot wire from? What no more 10% off?
Musclerodz Aug 8th, 07, 02:29 PM Yes they draw less amps. Led's draw very little amperage which with a standard flasher unit, it has to see a certain amount of load before it will flash or otherwise it will just stay on. The no load flasher sees a much smaller load before it flashes. The sale has been off for a awhile.

I hear ya. We broke the record today. 103* eclipses the record set in 1980 of 101*.
I'll get to it and post the video I promised.
CFunK Oct 7th, 07, 11:01 PM Got to finish up the wiring and I should have a video up middle of this week.
CFunK Nov 8th, 07, 04:31 PM Ok, here is a link to the video. It's about 7mb in size.

I want to thank Mike @ Musclerodz for his help with a couple of technical issues. The service was outstanding and he was always available if I had questions. The install is very straight forward and the directions were very easy to follow.
I am very pleased with the results and I no longer have to worry about bulbs going bad, bulb connectors not fitting worth a damn in the housing etc. Two hundred dollars well spent IMHO.
The only thing I am bummed about is I never get to see them in action!
Musclerodz Nov 9th, 07, 10:01 AM Those look great installed.
Mike
rsbecool Nov 9th, 07, 01:28 PM That looks sharp. Where did you run your hot wire from to operate the sequential function?
CFunK Nov 9th, 07, 02:33 PM On a coupe there is a lead that comes from the dome light into the trunk. In the kit they supply a wire with the correct connectors to tap into the wire which I thought was a nice touch so I didn't have to splice into that one.
Buck Nov 9th, 07, 04:55 PM Is it just me or do the brake lights look yellow?

fireeater Nov 10th, 07, 04:47 AM What the heck is that squeeking sound when applying the brakes:secret: Looks great. I was waiting for a sign to come across the back.
67FamilyFun Nov 10th, 07, 07:52 AM Is it just me or do the brake lights look yellow?
I thought they looked a little yellow also, but wondered if that wasn't because of the red car.
Also, does it cost extra for the brake activation 'squeak'?
CFunK Nov 10th, 07, 09:45 AM Drivers side rear brake needs some lube. Just haven't had the time or ambition to fix it.
They are definitely red in person.

I figured it was a camera anomaly...I was just funnin' ya with the squeak comment:D Mine probably squeak too, we don't spend too much time using the brakes with the engine off to hear it...

Clown on me all ya want !
The only time I hear it is when I shut the car off and let my foot off the brake. I'll get to it someday
idoxlr8 Nov 12th, 07, 07:41 AM Pretty cool Chris, I like how they come on from the center out when the brake is applied!
