My 69 is an 18 gallon tank. I do believe that all 67-69's got the 18 gallon tank.

My 68 holds 16 I think. I have an original sales brochure, I'll check that tonight. But for checking gas milage won't you just divide miles driven by gallons to fill (assuming you filled the previous time).
PS. My 250 6 cyl gets 18 around town, over 20 on highway. Best 6 banger I ever had gas mileage wise.

I was coming home from a show and my gas gage doesn't work properly so I filled up when I left and then when I got gas again I put 11.5 gallons in, I just wanted to see how much further I could have went. I traveled 180 miles using 11.5 gallons, so I got about 15.5 mpg, running about 75 to 80 mph, gotta love that 700 R-4.

Of course, you could use the 16 gallon tank numbers to guess you MPG, and if you don't like the result, use the 18 gallon tank. Look at that...feel better http://www.camaros.net/forum/smile.gif

BBD - I hear that you're making salsa in NY city these days! Next thing you'll be trading your BBC for a horse and we will all call you Hoss!!!

MarkM - I am running right around 16-17 mpg, the 700r4 is a good thing. When I get to 1/2 tank or so if I punch it my gas warning light will come on and by the looks of the back of mt license plate I might get it up to 18 if I could keep it in the tank!!!
