Does anyone know what's up with AR? You can't buy a set of 17" Torq Thrust M's black or chome in the country.

TTM wheels aren't made for 1st gen offsets, they are made for 4th gens. You would need to run 2" spacers to make them work. The regular TT2 wheels look better with the deeper dish/lip on these 1st gens anyways. If you are set on TTM wheels, give Tom a call at Tomzwheels.com

My TTM Black centers are backordered. My guy said 2 weeks from this past Tuesday. Not sure if he will get them in 2 weeks, being made in 2 weeks or what. He has not said anything about needing a spacer to put them on my 69. He had them listed in eBay for 67-69 Camaro. Anyways I hope I don't have to mess with that stuff, I may just switch to the TT2. The TTM don't come in a wide enough rim, but I "MUST HAVE" the black centered wheels for my car. It is orange with black top and stripes. What a decision!! :confused: :p

hwhawk, you can always order the TT2 wheels in polished finish and have the centers powdercoated before you mount tires. I had this done on a previous hugger orange SS, cost around $50/wheel to get them done. Pics here:

A friend of mine got the polished set of TTM's 17x8's on his 68 with no problem. I think they came with a 4 1/2 bs.

I don't know what's up with American Racings these days.
They just discontinued their painted rallys.

I'm thinking about the TTM's for my 68. Will they not look good with the 0 offset or should i go with the TT2's?
