1969 Camaro. I just bought new dust shields for the engine compartment, the ones that cover the upper control arms, how do I staple them on?

Thanks

Unless you have replaced your inner wheel wells, there should be small holes already in the wheel wells from the original shields. If not, what I had to do with my 67 was line up the shields on the wheel wells and drill holes a shade smaller than the staples that should have been supplied with the replacement shields throught the inner well and the shield. Space the staples according to the picture in the thread from Eric.Remember the shields are placed and secured on the outside of the inner wheel well. Once you have them secured, bend the staple ends in toward each other. It is a time consuming task if you are doing this with the car being all together but well worth the effort you get keeping excess dirt and water out the engine compartment.
JohnZ from CRG has an excellent view of his 69 showing the sheilds. That is who I got all my info from when I did my.

Good Luck!!!!
