Considering little to no rust would it be work $3K? No front clip but has stock hood. No engine or tranny (was a 4 speed small block??) but does come with a T-5 trans.

3k sounds like a steal.

So I went to see it, and it actually needs a trunk pan. And the rear panels have been cut and replaced...well they are currently just tacked on, they would need to be finished. It also comes with a complete 2nd front frame member (better sway bars and such) and the T-5. Its a 10 bolt non-original rearend Still think its a buy? Here are some pics.

Don't under estimate the amount of time and money it will take to put this car together. $3,000 is just to get it home? I think it might be cheaper to purchase a car that is in better condition that put this back together.

Hmmm.... I'd say it is a fair price for someone with plenty of time to rebuild it. You are probably looking at a minimum of $10K invested to get all the body panels and body work done. But, at least you will know if there are any hidden surprises along the way.

FWIW, I paid $3,500 for my 67 RS. It is a rust-free California car but came with just an original 327 block and heads (not a complete engine). It did have a front disc brake conversion and multi-leaf rear spring conversion, but that was it. No tranny, fuel tank, mismatch sheet metal, etc.

I hope this gives you something to compare with.

I guess from what i can see i wouldnt say youd neccessarily be stealing it at 3k. But with that said 3k buys you next to nothing when it comes to first gens these days. So if you have the time (lots of time) and would enjoy investing that said time working on your car..then yes..i think its worth 3k.
