Did Chevrolet mis-stamp alternator part numbers? Check this one out on ebay...

1100750 is the correct number for a 61A alternator. But to me, looks like an overstamp of 37A vice 61A.

v is too small, should be V (capital) Also, an 1100837 is a 37A alt.

I agree...though the stamp on this alternator isn't 1100750...it's 100750!
