Lawrence Shaw trailered his car down to Greenville today and I took a look at it, very nice original car... very nice... he wanted an opinion on whether or not to paint it...I was wholeheartedly against repainting the car as it shows VERY well in photo's... I came to the same conclusion as him though... it is going to have to be painted in order to make it a very presentable car...

I appreciate you taking the time to bring the car to Greenville and I am taken aback that someone would seek my opinion on whether their vehicle should be painted or not... I really wish I had the time to paint the car... however my life does not lend itself very well to taking on a project right now...

Thanks again... always nice to meet a fellow Car Nut...

James,

Thanks for taking the time to look over my car. I really appreciate it.

Keep me posted on the Black Car and I will the same on the Gold car.

It has a few (very minor) cancer issues... which must be dealt with... that and the fact that it has had one quarter panel, the rear tail panel, part of the hood and at least part of both fenders touched up at one time or another (not very high quality body work) leads me to the conclusion that the car must be painted... that being said I would do nothing but clean the engine compartment and the interior and leave the original paint in the inside of the deck lid... the door jambs must be repainted as well...
