This is a gennie original Z/28-bb ducted hood air cleaner so noted by the flat bottom and 1" 90º vent tube; bbs did not use the spacer. Note the close-up of the spacer showing the Demco stamp. Only used in production until around August 1969 I believe when the 2nd design with different tube and ribbed base went into production. The majority of COPOs including all ZL1s need this one. The repro and the GM service unit sold for 25 years or so were all 2nd design. The flange is also gennie; does not have the slice later units all had.

Tough to find and worth the money.
