Hello,
I am putting new front fenders on my 69 Camaro, and wondered if anyone had a template (electronic file possibly?) for the placement of the hole for installation of the antenna. I need to get a new one and am hoping it comes with a template, but we are ready to cut the hole and I haven't bought the antenna/hardware yet. Figured I'd ask you guys first... :)

Pretty sure the specs are in the AIM. Just be real careful on the hole. My body guy used my original fender for the template and cut the alignment slot the same, but the repro bezel has the tang 180 deg from the original. Had to modify the hole (on a freshly painted car :eek:)
Buy the bezel first and get the specs from the AIM and make your own template to fit the repro bezel!

If the fenders are not yet on the car look under the area where the antenna mounts. There is a brace with a clearance hole for the antenna. Punch your hole in the center of that clearance hole. If the fenders are already on the car it isn't nearly as easy.

In the pic below you see the passenger side fender on the right.
You can see how the fender has the provision manufactured in it for the antenna.
