so i'm going from manual brakes to power. i read that you should have the MC push rod hook up to the lower point in the brake pedal. in the process of that i noticed that there's a piece that hooks up to a spring where it pulls the pedal back up after you push it down.

now going to power brakes do i still need to hook this spring back up? the pressure from the booster seems to push the pedal back no problem. the spring also snags on part of the bracket when i use the lower hole.

so should i leave the spring out?

You do not need the spring or eye bracket. the booster has an internal spring to push the pedal back.
