What is the Buddy List and how does it work?

The buddy list is used to keep track of the friends you have made on this forum. By going to your "Open Buddy List" in "Quick Links" menu of the navbar, you'll be able to see which of your friends are currently online and send them a private message. Adding people to your buddy list also allows you to send private messages to multiple forum members at the same time. You may add any member of the forums to your buddy list by viewing their profile or by going to "Buddy / Ignore Lists" in your "User CP (http://www.camaros.net/forums/usercp.php)".

You're right. I only check in here periodically myself. If I could just win the lotto then I could stay home and cruise TC all day, and I would be able to read every post in every forum. I guess than would mean I have to actually buy a ticket :)

The "New Posts" button, or if you've been away too long to really catch up... the "Today's Posts" button and just read through, or at least skim every post :)

Have you noticed that every body is your buddy after a few to many.

Hey friends, Just wanted to mention that anyone you put on your "Buddy List" also shows up with a " + " sign after their forum name on the list of active users on the main screen.........My thoughts are to allow quicker recognitition when you are scanning who's online.

So that's what the + sign is... good call
