Does anyone know what would be the best way to improve my power brakes, my cam won't produce a lot of vacuum, even though I have a reservoir the pedal is real hard. I have heard about power steering pumps and vacuum pumps which might be more effective and easier/reliable?

Hydroboost. Expensive, but effective.

I added a electric vacuum pump , i got it from a swap meet for $130.00 works great .

I really hate my vacuum pump. It's loud and I would love to get rid of it.

If I had it to do over.....I would go with the system powered by the power steering pump.

Think twice about the vacuum pump.
