hey all, are the leaf springs from a 67-68 coupe the same as the rear leaf springs in a 1957 chevy wagon? I ask because i have a 57 4 door wagon and want to replace the springs in the rear and I happen to have a brand new set of 67 Camaro leaf springs.( I have a 1957 Chevy 4 door wagon because of the big family thing)

That car is too cool! My guess would be the springs are completely different. In a previous life about a hundred years ago I worked in a boneyard and parted out plenty of shoebox Chevys. As I reacall the sprinds were very narrow.

You are right, I went to a chevy website "Chevy talk" and someone there said the springs are 2 1/2 " Wide on the camaro but only about 2" on the Tri Chevys, but thanks anyway guys.

Detroit Eaton Spring has exact replacement spring for First Gen Camaros and the price isn't terrible either. It could be Eaton Detroit Spring also.
