Have a 69 camaro coupe that I am in the process of removing the rear end to replace front bracket and rear shackle bushings. Would like to know if it would be a good idea to install lakewood traction bars while I am down there and if there is a model that people like better than others. The car is a coupe 327, powerglide and a non posi rear pretty much stock. thanks Steve

Morning Steve ,it depends what you are going to use the car for ,cruzing the boulevard ,no need for them, draging racing ,yes you need them ,any one brand ,I used Lakewood for 25 yrs with the car running 13.0 to start and into the 10.80's when I stopped all on a 10.0 wide slick, I am sure they all are good as you are not IMHO going to notice the diff.with your current setup ,and you are not by the sound of your engine trans combo going to go in the 12.0 /13.0sec. range so your basic slapper bars are just fine ,Hope it helps and Happy Motoring
