View Full Version : Rear frame holes on my 69

I mounted new wheels and tires and while up on jacks, took pics of the frame area. My LM1 was single exhaust originally (no frame welded plate) but Im curious what the 2 holes are that are shown right behind the shock? There is a tiny plastic clip of some kind there too which appears to be original. That clip is also on the passenger side as well but not the 2 holes.
Kurt, Mark, anyone know what the 2 holes are for?

the two holes are where the dual exhaust plate goes , probably for alignment of the plate and clearance for the bolts . the plastic clips are probably from old air shock lines .
