Here's a good one, probably too good to be true. In our local newspaper (Toronto), someone advertised to sell a 69 camaro for $4000. At a price like that, I had to respond. I got a return email from a person who responded from Baytown TX. Ok so no big deal, until I opened the pictures he attached, a vehicle totally restored. Obviously a fraud. Anyone ever had this? The response says that the transaction is guarranteed through Yahoo finance. If a moderator wants me to forward the email to them including pics, plse send a pm
I tried to copy the pictures from the email but no luck

Yes a scam, yahoo finance has nothing to do with transactions like that. Tell him you will pay cash in person, he will go away

Sometimes, on e-bay France, there are some great 69 camaro or Split windows 'Vette or other Mach 1 fully restored at 10 000$. Strange adds, with an automatic translation of the description of the car. They often disapeared before the end of the deal. Fraud, Fraud ....

My friend contacted them and said he would fly out and pick the car up in Texas and they replied they only dealt via email.
