Guys im bombed, but i will try to get some video tomorrow, to first for me.
1. 6.75 @102 MPH with a 1.51 60ft
2. Pulled the Wheels!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Run would have been faster but pulling the wheels scared the crap out of me and i short shifted.
I will elaborate tomorrow, im pretty happy right now!!!

Cool deal!
You are still down on power, but that will come around.
So bombed as in way too many beers? Or just tired?
Glad you are making progress and had a blast!

I was tired from the adrenaline rush. I met my original project goals even if they weren't aggressive. I never in a million years expected to pull the wheels on those 6 year old ET streets foot braking!!!! I need some more low end to hold it out now ;)
i think that run was potientally low 6.7's or high 6.9s, but when you watch the video you will notice that the front wheels move while in the air BECAUSE I WAS LIKE WHAT THE H3LL when it came down i panicked and short shifted bad. Like 5000 ish.

Congrats.
Is that 9.11 the 1000ft?
So you're racing at Centerville?
I miss that track. I had a lot of good times there.

No,
its my old best at 1,000 ft at prescott. They run 1000ft on test and tune nights. I would expect it to be about 8.6's now. I should just remove it i guess till i get a 1000ft pass.
I need to run up to Centerville and see! It would give me some info on the power im building on the other end now.
you have to move away for a better job?

Thanks fellas!
I was never able to reproduce the 103+ MPH pass off the trailer. I think if i could have gotten that hook with the 103 pass I would have been in the 6.6's.
Up to that point, I had been just coming off idle with just enough preload to take the slack out of everything. Probably around 1500 RPM. On that pass its the first time I decided to really pre-load and run it up around 2,000 ish. I think I could go higher, but the car really bucks I will try it next time however. I need some disc front brakes BAD. cant hold straight to do my burn out and it will creep through the lights if i try to preload to a higher stall.
Another thing, I got to admit I was given the adviceon these boards to set my shift light way lower than desired shift RPM which i then promptly discarded. I was shifting the engine at 6300 and NOT a single pass did i not bump the rev limiter before the 1-2 shift, except the first wheels up where i short shifted ( also best time of the day ). Also i found it hard to ignore the light and hold it out in the 2-3 shift. I wasnt used to the carb actually being responsive like that. I should have lowered it to 6,000 and tried i think bumping the limiter kept me out of a 6.6 pass as well. I was thinking of grabbing one of those little MSD stand alone shift lights and using 2 different colors for 1-2 and 2-3....anyway its an idea.
Another stubborn bone headed thing i done was steadily increase my timing. I need to check that today because i kept putting the controller where i thought my timing should be 38-39 and it was faster when i pulled timing out to 36-37 ( so i think ). I need to recheck and i should have pulled timing out till the car slowed down.
Im going to check this carb with the O2 meter today and see where she is at WOT, this carb is not totally messed up, but its still far from tuned.
