Hi guys,
Keep the good info coming, haha. My setup is as in my signature, except that I don't have the slide a links totally in yet, or the 4.10, stilll running the 3.31 on Nitto drag radials. 60 ft times are horrible , 2.2-2.4. Will the gear change to 4.10, 28X10.5X15 M/T ET Drag slicks, and the S-A-L's decrease my 60 ft, or is there something else that I need to do. Guess I don't totally understand what factors are in play on the 60 ft times. Help please and thanks a lot

All depends on if the car is spinning the tires currently or not. If it's spinning badly, then yes the changes being made should make a measurable difference in the 60' assuming once it's adjusted properly the tires will dead hook.

But don't forget that a good 60' is not traction alone. Torque production, gearing, and converter as well as front suspension are all factors in producing a good 60'.

Thanks Slow,
I am spinning quite a bit with a bit of wheel hop. I will have the 4.10, s-a-l's, and slicks installed by the next weekend. Hope to see an improvement. What would you suggest as to front end improvements. It has stock shocks, springs and sway bar right now.
thanks
