Since this isnt a soft interior part i was a bit unsure where to post it. I found similiar threads on this subject but i had a couple ?'s more.

Are the parts for my 67 vert qtr windows the same as a coupe. I find nothing saying other wise but i trust you folks more then most of the online stores.

Both of my qtr windows are so sloppy I need wiggle them hard with 1 hand and roll them up with the other. I took all the skins off and found that the bushings seem to have a lot play. From what i can seem the actual slide bracket seems to be in fine shape, no real wear that i can see, but would i be able to see if they are worn badly?

I have found all the parts at Rick's , seems to be a cheap repair, anything extra i should do while im in there?

O ya, how many times will I throw tool doing this, do they come out fairly easy ?

its a pain, and pretty confusing
I replaced my rollers and it still did the same thing until i sprayed a bunch of lube in there
I would suggest you try spraying all the rollers really well and see if it helps

And I dont know if you see how it comes apart, I didnt at first, and dont remember exactly how they come out. But if I remember right you need to unbolt part of the track or something at it comes out with the window

Good luck

only the glass is different for a vert. Rollers, regulators, etc. are all the same.

I removed and repaired mine. It was not really too difficult. The guides need to be unscrewed to remove the glass. Just clean the guides up and lube them when you are reassembling them. It is one of those you have to do it to learn things. You will need to re-adjust the the assembly to make the window seal correctly once the guides are removed. Maybe you can mark them to back close to the original spot.

I took the drivers side apart and have everything out of the car, before i buy any rollers i'll lube up the passenger side and see how much that helps.

I'll post how it went ,

Thanks for the help

good deal.. how do all the rollers look? usually the bottom one breaks. if all three look good, then just lube them up.
