I just bought the wiper removal tool and I'm looking at JohnZ's pic of how the thing works. What isn't making sense to me is that the tab on the wiper arm that should be pulled out to pull the thing off is on the opposite side. I'm not sure how it gets depressed when the hook is on the opposite side.

Never mind. That was so easy. Now that I scratched my cowl with a screwdriver I get the thing off with a $5.00 tool and it was easy. I yanked like crazy and it wouldn't budge the other way. My five year old could have pulled the thing off with tool. Okay, enough rambling.

That's your problem. You have a FIVE YEAR OLD! But at least your kid isn't 15.
