I just got some great news for those of you who love the 3.31 gears for the 12 bolt. If all goes well I will be getting NEW 3.31 gears around early fall. No more looking throuogh used gears trying to find a good one.

That's great news (almost as good as saving 15% on my auto insurance by switching to GEICO)! What company will be making/selling them?

They are a good all purpose "middle of the road" gear...Not too steep to run at highway speeds but, not too "tall" (numerically low) for better acceleration from a stop.
