Hi All:
Has anyone used the preval aerosal sprayer?? It's a replaceable aerosol top wtih a removalable glass jar bottom. I might use it to do the top of my dash. I painted it with a egg shell finish rattle can from classic (twice) but there are still "fish-eyes" in the paint from all the Armour-All someone used. I don't have a compressor and need to add fish eye eliminator to the paint. I thought that the portable aerosol sprayer might be ok since it's a fairly small area and it's low gloss and would most likley hide minor imperfections.
Thanks!

You are gonna still need to prepare the surface better. Just adding the fisheye eliminator is not going to help if you have contamination on the surface. The little prevals are not bad for small jobs. You just have to get the reduction down right before you spray your parts.

Thanks Sudo-What's the best way to help get rid of the contamination?? I sanded and clened twice with degreaser/wax remover I got from the auto paint store and still Fish Eye City!!!!!!!!!!!
What a serious PIA for such a small job!!

I sell a product called Krud Kutter that we have used under a lot of high performance coatings with good results. Also I would watch to make sure you are not trying to put too much paint on in one coat causing it to out gas. Also the paint, area, and the the parts being sprayed should be nice and warm. I am assuming this is Metal we are talking about, not the vinyl pad??
