Been looking at a few cars and it was my impression that all 69 z-28's with 302's should have the double hump (probably 186) heads. Am i wrong on this?

You are correct. "186"-2.02 heads.

Scott, one of my reference books states 3947041x, 3927186,and 397014. I'm not sure if those are the only heads used on the 302 in 69. (my original heads are 186s) found another listing for 3917291 on 69 302 in same source.

The 3927186 was the only head used on '69 Z/28's. :thumbsup:

Jhon Z,Thank you for the correction. (was'nt trying to misinform) I will not trust this source anylonger! The help on this site far exceeds what I've gathered on my own. :yes:

The 291 heads were used on all 68 z28s also.
