I have a chance to buy a M-22 with a new supercase, tailshaft and needle bearing side cover for my car. Is this anything good or is it bad? any comments would be appreciated.

Sounds like an Autogear Muncie,..which is good. Here's some info:

M-22's have very strong gears if you don't mind the noise they make. Especially in first and second gear they whine alot. Kevin

I have an autogear m-22 supercase in my 69z28. I haven't had any significant problems with it. The case is definatley alot stronger and the trans shifts real well. IT takes a regular beating at the drag strip and holds up real well.
