Can anyone tell me where the speedometer cable should enter the firewall/dash to connect to the speedometer?

I can't seem to find the "correct" path.

Are you asking how it's run under the dash?

Get yourself a copy of the Factory Assembly Manual.. It's all in there and much, much more!

Sorry bout that guys.

I'm looking for the path to a 69 Camaro. I guess I'm wondering where it enters the Firewall from the tranny. Does it run from the tranny towards the motor and then through the firewall??

I know there is a hole from the motor through the firewall but it doesnt seem like it should be for the speedometer cable.

I've looked at the Factory Assembly but it really isn't specific (when it comes to this...but definitly is a great piece of literature)

Thanks

There are two different places that the cable will exit the firewall depending on your transmission..
Which side does the cable enter your trans, driver's or passenger's?

Driver's? See UPC 12-C3 & RPO M20-A9.
Passenger's? See RPO M20-A9.

UPC 0-A9 also shows both locations. The standard location near the fuse box is shown, but not mentioned.
The HD Muncie location is item 8
