Eleanor's Nemesis

Hey guys-
I am looking for some BBC headers that are easy to work around in my '68. The car will be a street/strip car making around 650 HP-I am curious about the opinions of the different brands out there. Fit and price means a great deal to me.
Thanks in advance for any answers-

The problem in those cars are the steering box. I've installed a couple of different brands and I like the Hedman Elite or the Hooker Super Comps ($$) the best. 2" is about as big as you can go before you'll want to kick the fender in installing them. I hope this helps.

I have Hookers through jet coat and they fit fine. No power steering though.

I have 2 inch Hooker super comps, and power steering...they are a tight fit and access to spark plug 8 is a pig... but they are fine.
I was looking at Sanderson headers as a possible replacement, but have heard some 'mixed opinions' (via Google search) so will stick with what I have!

I think Hookers work good on these cars but kinda high though.

...and Hookers are pretty low to the ground too!

I've run Hooker Super Comps and plain ol' Summit headers on mine. I have no power steering, but both were easy (I actually think they're easier to work around than the small block headers). I should note that I haven't had inner fenders on the car ever since I put in the BB, so that's something. I would agree that the Super Comps don't have a lot of ground clearance.

I have super comps, 2 1/8 and they fit fine. plug 8 is a pain and 7 you have to reach from under the car but is easy. They fit even though hooker said they wouldn't with my heads
