Hey,

Have a question on carbs. I am going to buy a motor from a friend

383 cu
brodix 2.08/1.60 215cc cnc'd 68 cc chambers flows 305/227@.700
comp 276/284@50 .630/.630 with 1.6 .672/.672
13.1 nitrous pistions
GM performance Bow Tie intake
cola crank
MDS
1050 dominator
Ran best in 3200lbs car 10.40
my question is the carb to big? It seems that it should have 850-950cfm? l
Please let me know what you think

If you shoot big NO2 you want to stick with that carb...I had about the same motor, on the street was a 900(850dom/900base)? dominator-on track was a 1050.....shot NO2 ontrack

wiskeesour, The motor is going to be sprayed with 200 shot. My car weights 200 lbs. less. so it should put me in he 10 teens on motor and mid 9's on spray. What is your times and weights? Thanks

sounds like youll be knockin on 9's door pretty easy.......:yes:

Stock 68 camaro 427 SBC/TH400 made pass' in 9.90's 140MPH. The car weighed around 3300 or so with me and some gas. I havent raced in a few years but that is the best numbers I can remember. Ill try to get more info.....raced at Noble in OKLA and at Ennis.
