We are trying to install new repro Corvex drip railing modings on my 67 and they do not clip onto the bottom of the rail the way they should. I am at a loss on whether to try OER ones which might not make a difference or does someone have a solution? They fit too loosely where they need to be tight to clip into place.

Had the same problem. I used a little weather strip glue on the backside and held it down overnight with painters tape.

I tried the corvex as well as OER. Both junk as you have found out. I found some decent used original pieces, staightened, buffed and polished them. Much better than a/m. Sorry but no help on the corvex.

Was the orginal made of metal? I thought they were plastic.

I just put on a new pair I got from GM. They were REAL hard to get on but fit perfect.

The way I see it, anything made by Corvex shouldn't even be considered for use...except for the trash.
Abosolute junk....
That's my 2 cents.
