Hey gang,

I am putting a 496 stroker in my car and I am wondering if anyone knows where I might find some '496' emblems for the fenders of my 68? This isn't a typo, I can get a load of 396 emblems, it's the 496 that I want, surely somebody is making them?

Thanks in advance!

I'd reconsider,..never liked the 502 emblems either. Speak softly,..carry a big stick!

Rick's First Gen sells individual digits that you can use to make a 496 emblem.

My suggestion would be either leaving off the emblems, or putting 307 emblems on it.

Michael National Parts Depot has the individual numerals with adhesive backing. They appear to be the correct style for a 68, which is good for you and I, bad for the other first gens. I think they are about $15 a number. Here is the website:

Their site is a little clunky to work through, but just keep clicking and you'll get their. Select ornaments from the Camaro download area and you'll find them there.

Not sure on the pricing, but look here if you want something custom.
