I have a 67 SS 350. I was recently driving down the road enjoying a great night when all of a sudden my interior lights and tail lights went dark. I began work in my garage checking all connections and grounds finding an issue at the light switch, it seems I am not getting power out of the switch to the right place at the right time.
I have replaced my old switched with a new one from Ricks 1st Gen. Still did not work.
So this is where I am. I hold the switch in my hand connect red power wire to stud #1 but am not recieving power out of proper studs for correct lights and switch positions. Only front park lights work properly in first position and headlights on 2nd position. No tail lights no dash lights but tail and dash lihgts work fine when I run direct power. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this problem?
I'm testing power with a test light. All fuses are good
